The artist proposes a class starting with an active warm-up to prepare the body and to reach the end of the class with maximum physical performance exploring the limits of the body in movement. For this she combine elements of different contemporary techniques exploring floor and standing work. The participants will work the torso, the spirals, twists, out balances and suspensions as well as the dynamics in the movement and its musicality. At the end of the workshop it will share the tools worked on in Jarana project.

Laia Santanach is a Barcelona-based choreographer, dancer and pedagogue. As dancer she has worked in various national and international companies and for renowned theatre directors such as Liliana Cavani, Àlex Ollé (La Fura Dels Baus), Joan Font (Comediants), Àlex Rigola (Teatro Stabile del Veneto). With Rèplica she is a finalist at the Institut del Teatre Award 2017. In 2018 she wins the Delfí Colomé Prize for her project Àer, currently on tour. She is the creator and co-director of the Minorca in Danza festival.
