Our idea is to give a workshop with the title “working with our personality as dancers”. This session will consist of giving the dancers tools of research on how to find your personality in space and in your movements. By using movement initiated by the dancer, he/she/they can understand their relation with space and master it within their personage which they have found. In our work the space is inspired by our natal charters, which is a reflection on the planets positions in the universe, during our birth. Through this, we will let participants decide what quality of movements (fire, earth , air ,water) they will like to choose to define themselves. We will also introduce playing with multiples qualities inspired by the natural forces, to create dynamics and oppositions in their bodies and space, for them to find their specificity in their dance personality.

The Babacar Mané company was created in 2016 by the dancer and choreographers Babacar Mané born in Senegal. Mané graduated from his state diploma training from the National School of Arts of Senegal. His company is characterized by the force of innovations, links to creation, commitment, and perpetual research. He is involved in activities such as creations, intercultural sharing, workshops, discussions around art. In accordance with the values of meeting and sharing ,the structure is also involved in the dissemination of local non-professional artists in order to orient them towards professional opportunities through cultural. Interpreter and choreographer, Shelly Ohene-Nyako is a Ghanaian-Swiss dancer holder of a bachelor’s in art performance from NSCD in Leeds (UK). She found an interest in ancestral methods within her dance, her own artistic approach, and an engagement for the question concerning society.
