The workshop Physical Tools is a class starting with an active warm up to prepare the body and be able to reach the end of the class with maximum physical performance exploring the limits of the body in movement.
I combine elements of different contemporary techniques exploring ground and standing work. We work the torso, the spirals, torsions, out balances ands uspensions as well as the dynamics in the movement and its musicality.

Laia Santanach is a Barcelona-based choreographer, dancer and pedagogue. As dancer she worked in various national and international companies and for prestigious theatre directors such as Liliana Cavani, Àlex Ollé (LaFura Dels Baus), Joan Font (Comediants), Àlex Rigola (Permanent Theater of Veneto). With the show Rèplica she is a finalist at the Institut del Teatre Award 2017. In 2018 she won the DelfíColomé Prize for his project Àer,currently on tour. She is creator and co-director of the Menorca in Danzafestival.
