Dreaming Costa Rica is a danced reflection on the perception of freedom, and on the urgency of defending it for oneself and for others. The choreographic work depicts the struggle of man in relating to the environment, and highlights how violence is often the only tool used against what surrounds us. Costa Rica, a Platonic example of a vision of a republic, becomes the dream to aim for, as it brings the idea of a perfect balance between man and nature, an imagery lulled by calypso music.
